Youth Researches Brandenburg

The competition Youth Research Brandenburg offers young talents in Brandenburg a platform to present their own research projects from the STEM fields as well as work environment and technology. Innovative contributions from participants from the 4th grade up to the age of 21, as well as apprentices and students in their first degree program (up to the 2nd semester), are recognized at regional, state, and federal levels. In the two age categories "Junior" (up to 15 years) and "Youth Research" (up to 21 years), young researchers compete individually or in groups. A panel of experts evaluates the level of innovation, scientific methodology, and quality of presentation. As an award and recognition event, the program of the Brandenburg Technology Foundation promotes not only creative problem-solving but also interdisciplinary exchange between schools, universities, and industry partners.

Applications must include a meaningful project description and a completed registration form. The regional competitions in the East and West take place annually before the winners advance to the state finals and ultimately compete at the federal level.
