Young Entrepreneurs Support Package

The Young Entrepreneurs Support Package of the City of Vienna and the Vienna Chamber of Commerce supports founders, young entrepreneurs, and business successors in Vienna with targeted subsidies for external consulting services. The goal is to create and maintain economically healthy and young companies in the federal capital. From January 1, 2024, the program continuously grants funding in the form of hourly rates: €90 per hour (up to four hours) for the initial consultation, and €66 per consulting hour for individual topic and concept consultations. In total, up to 24 hours can be funded before the founding, and up to 34 hours annually up to three years after the start.

Applications can be submitted online at any time or in writing via email to the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and require a visit confirmation from the founder service before the start of consulting. Funding prerequisites are the definitions for founders (no self-employment in the last seven years) and young entrepreneurs (first founding within the last three years); the subsidy also applies to successors if they meet these criteria. The program covers a maximum project duration of 36 months and includes consultations both before and after company formation. After completion of the consulting services, the funding is paid out based on submitted invoices and proof of payment. Continuous quality assurance through feedback forms ensures sustainable consulting results and contributes to strengthening Vienna’s economic location.
