Description

Carinthian Civil Protection Association – Annual Subsidy supports non-profit organizations in Carinthia with an annual grant of up to €6,000. Projects and events in the fields of disaster protection as well as work & social affairs are funded, for example children’s and senior safety olympiads, fire brigade exercises, or preventive information campaigns. The funds cover material and equipment needs, fees for experts, logistics, and public relations, thereby strengthening the learning communication between volunteers, municipal authorities, and citizens to enhance regional crisis resilience. The subsidy was established by the resolution of the Main and Finance Committee on February 27, 2019, and guarantees reliable, unbureaucratic financing of public welfare-oriented initiatives in the state of Carinthia.

Only the Carinthian Civil Protection Association as a non-profit interest group is eligible to apply. The funding is unlimited in duration and can be continuously applied for without a fixed deadline since February 27, 2019. A prerequisite is a written application with a detailed project description, cost and financing plan in accordance with the subsidy regulations of the City of Villach. After positive resolution by the responsible committee, the direct grant is disbursed. Required documents include the written subsidy application and supporting documentation for accounting. Submissions are possible at any time; proof of proper use must be submitted by July 31 of the calendar year following the grant award. Approval is subject to the availability of budget funds and is based on the benefit to the population, thereby ensuring flexible project planning and transparent allocation of funds.
