Description
The Vienna Training Coordination Office was established to support the operational implementation of the Vienna Training Guarantee and to strengthen the networking of the institutions involved. In close cooperation with the Vienna Public Employment Service (AMS), the Vienna Social Fund (FSW), the Vienna Social Ministry Service (SMS), and the Vienna Employees Promotion Fund (waff), the office ensures coordinated offerings along the school-to-work transition. The goal is to promote adolescents and young adults through tailored measures, thereby increasing their long-term chances of successfully completing their education or training.
Eligible for funding are exclusively non-profit organizations acting as project sponsors that submit a corresponding funding concept along with a financial plan. Funding is provided as a grant covering the actual incurred costs and can cover up to 100% of the contractually agreed expenses. With a maximum project duration of 36 months, offerings for 15- to 21-year-olds as well as young people with disabilities up to 24 years of age are supported. Applications can be submitted from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2026, and are subject to the conditions of the respective funding contract. Through the broad cooperation of all partners in the network, a comprehensive support system is created that sustainably secures school completion and successful entry into working life.
