Description
With the Cultural Vouchers North Rhine-Westphalia, the state provides uncomplicated immediate assistance for non-profit associations, initiatives, and organizations in rural areas. A public and low-threshold cultural event or series taking place between June 29 and December 31, 2026, with at least €500 in eligible expenses, can be applied for digitally via Kultur.Web after completion. A one-time fixed amount of €500 will be paid per applicant. The goal is to strengthen cultural participation, highlight voluntary engagement, and promote social cohesion locally.
Eligible for funding are legal entities under private and public law with headquarters or a significant operational focus in the rural areas of North Rhine-Westphalia. Funded expenses include, among others, artist fees, technical and material costs, venue rentals, organization, security services, travel expenses, public relations, as well as measures for barrier-free access. Own contributions, ongoing operating and administrative costs, investments, or catering are excluded. Applications must be submitted ex post, no later than four weeks after the event ends and by January 28, 2027, via the standardized online form; invoices, receipts, and bank details must be uploaded. The Arnsberg District Government reviews applications on a first-come, first-served basis and disburses the funding as a fixed grant to a German bank account. All documentation must be retained for at least five years.
