Rural Reorganization

Within the framework of the Austrian Rural Development Program, Rural Reorganization in Vorarlberg supports agricultural consolidations and land readjustments to optimize soil and property structures. Eligible for funding are private individuals, interest groups, associations, and cooperatives that can present an officially initiated agricultural procedure, a land readjustment agreement, or a corresponding funding community. Thanks to an unlimited funding period, applications can be submitted at any time. The measure grants subsidies of 60 to 70% of eligible expenses for measures such as ecological interventions for cultural landscape maintenance, traffic-related access developments, hydraulic engineering and bioengineering works, as well as own contributions, basic improvements of valuable areas, surveying, and consulting services.

The goal is a sustainable strengthening of rural areas through improved infrastructure, nature conservation-oriented design, and climate-efficient management. Agricultural and forestry owners as well as land readjustment communities thereby have the opportunity to implement long-term projects that combine economic and ecological added value. The funding contributes to optimizing supply routes, maintaining the cultural landscape, and increasing regional value creation.
