Description
The State Investment Promotion Program (LIP 2014) – Consulting Cost Subsidies is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with headquarters or business premises in Bremen that wish to utilize consulting services related to business start-up or management. With a funding rate of 50%, up to €15,000 per project is subsidized, with a maximum of €50,000 per company granted within 36 months. The goal is to strengthen the innovation capacity and economic stability of the Bremen economic area by supporting external expertise in strategic, organizational, and market-related issues. Designed as a grant, the program covers all eligible consulting costs, enabling targeted and cost-efficient qualification of founders and executives.
A prerequisite for funding is compliance with the EU definition of SMEs as well as the implementation of a clearly defined consulting measure that significantly differs from ongoing business activities. The consulting must be completed within three months after the application is submitted. Applications must be submitted continuously before the start of the measure to Bremer Aufbau-Bank GmbH or BIS Bremerhaven. The selection of funding recipients is based on the application documents and alignment with the program objectives. This structured approach ensures prompt processing and provides SMEs with predictable support during their start-up or growth phase.
