State Program Economy 2021–2027 – FIT Guideline

The State Program Economy 2021–2027 – FIT Guideline supports application-oriented research and innovation projects as well as future-proof technologies in Schleswig-Holstein. The goal is to sustainably strengthen the technology and knowledge transfer between research institutions and companies. Funding is provided to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, founders, and educational institutions that advance projects in the fields of research & innovation, science, and digitalization. A prerequisite for a successful application is having a registered office or branch in Schleswig-Holstein as well as a clear project reference to application-oriented research, innovation, or knowledge and technology transfer. Funding is granted in the form of grants and is specifically aimed at initiatives that sustainably enhance the competitiveness of the regional economy.

Applications can be submitted continuously until December 31, 2027, with the funding period spanning from 2021 to 2027. The Economic Development and Technology Transfer Schleswig-Holstein GmbH (WTSH) serves as the central contact point, providing advice on application procedures, funding rates, and individual project concepts. Through close cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Transport, Labor, Technology, and Tourism, projects are supported from the idea stage through to implementation. Interested companies and research institutions benefit from an extensive network and professional expertise to successfully implement innovative solutions in Schleswig-Holstein and to specifically promote knowledge transfer.
