Description
The State Program Economy 2021–2027 supports companies, start-ups, non-profit organizations, and public institutions in Schleswig-Holstein in investing in energy-saving and energy-efficiency technologies as well as in the development of innovative energy solutions. As a grant program with continuous application opportunities until December 31, 2027, the program aims to strengthen regional economic strength while simultaneously advancing climate protection. Funding is provided for both investment and acquisition costs for highly efficient systems as well as planning and consulting services and development costs for innovation projects in the energy sector. With regard to economic viability, CO₂ reduction potential, and technical innovation, the program explicitly supports forward-looking projects in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as research institutions and municipalities.
Eligible applicants are project sponsors with headquarters and operations in Schleswig-Holstein who also implement their projects locally. A prerequisite is proof of the technical and economic necessity of the measure, along with corresponding cost estimates, a detailed project description, and an economic feasibility calculation. Ongoing operating costs, retroactive expenses, or the repayment of existing liabilities cannot be subsidized. The evaluation criteria include the level of innovation, the payback period, and the contribution to the energy transition in the state. Through targeted funding, companies, start-ups, research institutions, and municipalities have the opportunity to successfully realize energy-efficient solutions and make an important contribution to climate protection.
