Description

This grant from the Raiffeisen Foundation supports projects that highlight rural cooperatives as attractive employers for young skilled and managerial professionals. Eligible companies and cooperatives nationwide can strengthen their employer brand through measures in the areas of training & further education, regional development, consulting, and public relations. The goal is to transparently present the diverse range of training occupations and fields of activity and to spark the interest of prospective young talent. Funded activities include, for example, informational events, print and online materials, as well as internet projects that serve as exemplary models for other cooperatives and consider sustainability aspects in line with SDG orientation.

Applications are submitted informally by the management of cooperative companies or institutions and can be made in writing or electronically at any time. The funding application should be no longer than six pages and include details of the project, a meaningful project description with objectives, methods, and organization, as well as a financing plan. Additionally, the application should contain a description of exemplary impacts for other cooperatives, an outline of planned materials with their intended use, and references to other funders in cases of partial financing. Selection is based on criteria such as transparency of the training offer, exemplary effect, and sustainability orientation. After formal preliminary review by the Foundation, the Board recommends the final decision to the Advisory Board. Cooperative enterprises committed to forward-looking talent acquisition are invited to submit their projects and thus contribute to strengthening rural areas.
