Description
In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, an interest-bearing loan of up to €25,000 is available to support start-ups and business successors in closing project-related financing gaps. The term can be up to six years, with the first repayment installment due only after twelve months. With a fixed interest rate of 4% per annum on the outstanding balance, the program promotes investments, deductible operating expenses, as well as withdrawals to secure private living expenses – excluding the share capital of corporations. Applications can be submitted continuously until December 31, 2028, to the Gesellschaft für Struktur- und Arbeitsmarktentwicklung mbH (GSA), which acts as the granting authority on behalf of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, managing the allocation and disbursement.
Eligible for funding are natural persons with their main residence and future business location within the funding area, who plan an economically sustainable full-time business project or whose business activity has not exceeded 36 months. A prerequisite for granting the 100% loan is the submission of a complete, meaningful business plan as well as proof of suitable commercial and professional qualifications. The application package is supplemented by a professional statement from the responsible Chambers of Industry and Commerce or Chambers of Crafts. With this offer, the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania aims to sustainably promote solid start-ups and business successions and thus strengthen the economic location in the long term.
