Eligible applicants are natural and legal persons outside the federal administration; a detailed cost, time, and financing plan as well as proof of economic viability without ongoing insolvency proceedings are mandatory.

The range extends from the analysis of mobility needs and behavior to the development of digitally controlled traffic infrastructures and the application of new lightweight construction and propulsion technologies. Furthermore, the program includes demonstration and scaling projects for innovative mobility services that promote traffic shift and avoidance, as well as measures for competence and capacity building. Special attention is given to inclusive mobility solutions and gender equality through the inclusion of diverse user and target groups.
