Object and Project Funding for Care and Support

Object and Project Funding for Care and Support provides nonprofit organizations and public institutions in Vienna with financial grants to cover ongoing operating costs as well as to implement time-limited or one-time projects in the field of care and support. The funding is aimed at institutions based in Vienna that can demonstrate nonprofit activities, as well as individuals in need of care and support. The basis for this is the submission of a properly formatted application in accordance with the General Funding Guidelines of the Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW). Applications can be submitted at any time; there is no maximum funding duration. Recognized costs include both regular operating expenses and project-related expenditures for innovative care or support concepts.

For the application, the corresponding form for object or project funding as well as the FSW funding guidelines must be submitted in digitally completed and legally binding signed form. Essential requirements are the nonprofit status of the institution, the main office in Vienna, and compliance with documentation and accountability obligations. Upon positive review, approval and commitment of funds will be issued in writing. Disbursement is made in the form of grants to the applying institution. Ongoing reporting obligations and designated use of funds are monitored by the Fonds Soziales Wien. Unused funds must be repaid upon request.
