Purchase Eco-Points

The offering enables the acquisition of officially recognized ecological points in the natural area D64 of the Günztal habitat network in Bavaria. By purchasing these points, legal nature conservation requirements for construction and infrastructure projects are fulfilled, while simultaneously supporting long-term nature conservation and climate protection projects of the KulturLandschaft Günztal Foundation. The ecologically optimized compensation measures strengthen regional biodiversity, increase the climate resilience of the Allgäu region, and are designed in compliance with the Federal Nature Conservation Act as well as the Bavarian Compensation Ordinance. Thanks to certification as a commercial ecological account operator, the foundation guarantees professional maintenance of the areas and reliable documentation in the ecological area register.

Eligible for funding are companies, public institutions, and private individuals as soon as a compensation requirement has been determined by the lower nature conservation authority and a specialist report has been submitted. Project sponsors from municipalities, infrastructure and energy companies, developers, as well as industrial and commercial enterprises may submit inquiries at any time. To apply, a project description including location details, the number of ecological points required, and the planned timeframe must be submitted. Offers are continuously prepared to ensure timely integration of the compensation obligation into ongoing planning and approval procedures. The KulturLandschaft Günztal Foundation thus specifically promotes sustainable habitat connectivity and makes a valuable contribution to the protection of rare animal and plant species in the region.
