Description
The sponsorship assistance of the Peter + Maria Kinscherff Foundation for Senior Aid is aimed at needy elderly pensioners in the Rhine-Neckar-Palatinate metropolitan region and aims to sustainably alleviate old-age poverty. Over an initial period of 12 months, eligible individuals receive a monthly grant of €35. Upon submission of current notices, the funding can be extended, provided the foundation has available funds. This continuous support makes a significant contribution to preserving dignity in old age and enables seniors to fulfill small everyday wishes and improve their quality of life.
Eligible for funding are persons aged 65 and over residing in Baden-Württemberg or Rhineland-Palatinate who receive a German pension and have an income of no more than €800 (single household) or €1,400 (couple/life partnership) after deducting rent, or who receive basic security or housing allowance. Applications can be submitted at any time and require compliance with the funding guidelines according to the foundation’s statutes. Application documents must include the completed form, copies of the identity card or passport, current pension notices, as well as proof of basic security, housing allowance, and, if applicable, assistance with care. The grant is provided 100% as a subsidy.
