Description

The Doing Good in MV Program supports non-profit, volunteer-driven initiatives in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania that strengthen social cohesion. Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, public-law entities, as well as other initiatives based in the state. The Foundation for Volunteering and Civic Engagement MV grants straightforward subsidies of up to 1,000 euros, and in justified exceptional cases up to 3,000 euros. Eligible expenses are those directly serving the project, such as travel and accommodation costs, personnel expenses, fees, rental of premises and equipment, as well as expenses for public relations and materials. Overall financing must be secured, and the funded project must not have started at the time of application.

Applications are submitted digitally via the EAS MV portal, where participants can prepare, save drafts, and collaboratively edit applications around the clock. Registration with an email address is sufficient to handle funding applications and accounting fully online—paper documents are no longer required. Funding applications for the 2026 funding phase can be submitted starting November 15, 2025. The program aims especially to support small and very small clubs and to promote engagement where no established funding structures exist so far. The transparent allocation practice of the MV Volunteering Foundation ensures a fair distribution of funds and offers all volunteers in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania the chance to implement their ideas for a strong community.
