Description
The progres.nrw program Low-Emission Mobility supports public-law institutions, companies, and non-profit organizations in North Rhine-Westphalia with investments in low-CO₂ transport solutions. Funding is provided, among other things, for the acquisition of low-emission vehicles, the expansion of charging and refueling infrastructure, as well as support through professional planning and consulting services. The grant aims to promote efficient energy use and the deployment of renewable energies in the transport sector. Applications can be submitted continuously as long as budget funds are available. Key criteria include the proven CO₂ reduction potential, economic efficiency, and the degree of innovation of the planned measures.
Applicants must demonstrate their headquarters or a business location in North Rhine-Westphalia and assign a clear connection to low-emission mobility to the project. Required documents include the completed application form, a detailed project description, a financing plan, and proof of use. Retroactive costs and expenses outside the project duration are excluded. The Arnsberg District Government coordinates the program on behalf of the MWIKE and serves as the central administrative service provider for inquiries regarding funding and accounting.
