Description
The project funding of the Christian Foundation Future Human in North Rhine-Westphalia is aimed at non-profit organizations, educational institutions, as well as private individuals who are based in Oberhausen and operate on an ecumenical basis. Projects in the fields of education, art and culture, as well as youth, family, and elderly care are supported. Special emphasis is placed on the promotion of values, ecumenism, integration, and the strengthening of civic engagement. The foundation’s objective is to support sustainable projects that demonstrate long-term orientation, are transferable and scalable, and foster networking and voluntary commitment. Funds can be flexibly applied for project-related material costs and additional personnel expenses, provided that a personal contribution is demonstrated and the project has not yet commenced.
Interested church congregations, providers of child and youth welfare, associations, and initiatives may submit applications at any time; individuals must apply in cooperation with a non-profit project sponsor. A prerequisite is membership in the churches of the Working Group of Christian Churches Oberhausen as well as the non-profit status of the applicants. The foundation’s board decides on the allocation continuously; feedback is usually provided within six weeks. If the annual funds are exhausted, a renewed application in the following year is recommended. The official foundation form must be used for the application, which must be completed fully and truthfully and submitted with a signature. Funding is always linked to the acknowledgment of the Christian Foundation Future Human in public relations and is made exclusively to the account of the legal entity.
