Funding objective

Description

The Irmgard and Werner Meller Foundation continuously awards project grants to strengthen educational opportunities, development cooperation, as well as health and social projects in North Rhine-Westphalia. Primarily benefiting are children, adolescents, and adults from Mülheim who are engaged in the fields of general and vocational education, youth and elderly care, public health services, disaster and civil protection, as well as civic engagement. The aim of the funding is to support non-profit, charitable, and church-related initiatives and thereby promote social cohesion locally. The foundation builds upon the life’s work of its founders Irmgard and Werner Meller, who were particularly connected to the Saarn district and wished to contribute with their legacy to the remembrance of the positive cultural life in Mülheim an der Ruhr.

Eligible for funding are both private individuals and non-profit organizations as well as public institutions with their seat or residence in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Applications can be submitted at any time; however, prior contact with the foundation is required.
