Description

The Lukas Sperling Foundation offers nationwide open project funding for non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public entities engaged in the fields of development cooperation, education, vocational training, women’s empowerment, digitalization, sports, migration, agriculture & rural development, labor & social affairs, as well as culture & media. Through its grant program, the foundation continuously supports educational and vocational training initiatives in developing regions – ranging from craft workshops to computer and sports courses, as well as microcredits and public relations – as well as integration and literacy courses in Germany. Funded measures are those designed and implemented in accordance with the principles of sustainability and aimed at improving the living conditions of disadvantaged people – especially women, youth, refugees, and migrants – in the long term.

Interested applicants may submit proposals at any time, provided a detailed project concept and a transparent financial plan are presented and non-profit status is proven. The selection process places central importance on alignment with the foundation’s objectives, sustainable benefits for the target group, and the measurability of impact. In this way, the funding helps to strengthen local initiatives that promote self-determination through practical educational offerings and enable social participation. Timely approval provides planning security and enables the supported initiatives to quickly implement effective programs that open up new perspectives for disadvantaged people on site.
