Description

The project funding of the European Culture and Education Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, and associations that implement cultural and educational projects with a European focus in Saarland or the Greater Region. With a flexible grant model, the foundation supports those event formats, workshops, or publication projects that it initiates, designs, or participates in. The goal is to strengthen Europe's cultural cohesion, stimulate cross-border dialogues, and implement innovative educational offerings. Thanks to a continuous application possibility, the start of new projects is feasible at any time, enabling the timely realization of creative ideas with a European focus.

Eligible applicants are organizations whose project locations or main areas of implementation are in Saarland or the adjacent Greater Region and that have a clear European reference. Applications are submitted by providing a fully completed application form as well as a precise project description, a financing plan, the organization’s statutes, and the data processing information sheet. Convincing concepts that promote local partnerships and make cultural diversity tangible increase the chances of funding. The foundation continuously reviews all documents and promptly informs applicants of its decision. In doing so, it offers a sustainable platform for initiative, enthusiasm, and European cooperation in the region.
