Description
The project funding of the Carpathian German Cultural Heritage Foundation supports innovative initiatives for the collection, preservation, research, and presentation of the cultural heritage of the Carpathian Germans from Slovakia. Nationwide eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, educational institutions, public bodies, as well as committed individuals. Projects in the fields of culture, research & innovation, science, as well as culture & media are supported, aiming to document historical material, prepare research results, and make them accessible to the public. Through grants in the form of fixed-amount financing, initiatives by archives, museums, associations, and scientific institutions are equally strengthened. The continuous submission option enables flexible planning and short-term project implementation.
For a successful application, a fully completed project funding application, a detailed cost and financing plan, as well as proof of own contribution of at least 10% of the total costs are required. Eligible expenses include travel costs, transportation and accommodation costs, fees and honoraria, as well as material costs. Services subject to fees by political officeholders or events related to the Scientology organization are not funded. Approval is granted based on the General Terms and Conditions for Grants for Project Funding (ANBest-P). Upon completion of the project, a proof of use must be submitted. Thanks to flexible deadlines and individual fixed-amount financing, applicants can plan and realize their projects according to needs to sustainably secure and vividly convey the Carpathian German cultural heritage.
