The foundation supports activities and projects that promote solidarity in the workplace, particularly the dissemination of information and exchange of experiences in the areas of humanization of work, ecology in production and disposal, environmentally compatible and socially beneficial products, democracy and co-determination, as well as equality and fair division of labor.

Description
The project funding of the Foundation for Human Dignity and the World of Work is aimed nationwide at individuals, non-profit organizations, companies, start-ups, public institutions, cooperatives, foundations, as well as interest groups and other associations. Projects that strengthen solidarity-based action in the workplace and have a clear reference to human dignity are supported. The focus is on topics such as the humanization of work, ecological production and disposal processes, the development of environmentally friendly and socially beneficial products, democracy and co-determination, as well as equality and fair division of labor. The foundation subsidizes material and personnel costs, fees, travel expenses, and public relations measures with up to 10,000 euros (film projects up to a maximum of 5,000 euros). Target groups are particularly initiatives and groups with limited access to financial resources that achieve public impact and enable exchange of experience in the mentioned funding priorities.
Applications must be submitted sixfold in paper form by post as well as additionally as a PDF by email. Applications must be received at least seven days before one of the regular board meetings to ensure timely review. Decisive criteria are the reference to human dignity, public impact, a solidarity-based approach, and alignment with the funding priorities of work, social cohesion, environmental/nature conservation, and climate protection. In addition to the fully completed funding application, a subsequent proof of use is required. The foundation informs about the funding decision within ten days after the board meeting and expects that approved funds will be accounted for after project completion through a detailed proof of use. This funding offer supports ambitious projects in preserving the dignity of all employees and shaping a sustainable, democratic working environment.
