Description

The project funding of the Teichland Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions based and primarily active in the Amt Peitz, in the district of Spree-Neiße, as well as the independent city of Cottbus. To strengthen civic engagement, projects in the areas of social affairs, culture, environmental and nature conservation, sports, education and training, monument protection, disaster control, energy efficiency, and many other thematic focuses are supported with grants starting from €250. Project-related personnel and material costs, necessary expert reports and permits, as well as the documentation of the project progress are eligible for funding. Projects applied for retroactively or already completed are excluded. The deadlines for submitting complete application documents are December 31 for the first half of the year and June 30 for the second half. Applications must be submitted prior to project commencement, and the submitted financing plan will be reviewed for completeness and compliance with the funding guidelines.

The application must include the binding application form, quotes or expert reports, proof of use, and, if applicable, income and asset statements for charitable projects. Evaluation is based on relevance to the foundation’s purpose, the transparency of the financing plan, and the completeness of the documents. Upon project completion, a proof of use with all receipts must be submitted within 30 days. The funding decision is made by the foundation’s board, and approved funds must be drawn within the specified funding period. This funding program sustainably strengthens local initiatives and promotes the common good in the Brandenburg region.
