Project Funding by the Waldsee Community Foundation

In 2026, the Waldsee Citizens' Foundation will once again award grants for charitable projects that strengthen community life in the local municipality of Waldsee and introduce innovative impulses. Projects in the areas of education, sports, social affairs, children and youth, culture, environmental/nature conservation, vocational training & further education, culture & media, work & social affairs, as well as energy efficiency & climate protection, will be supported. The aim is to mobilize civic responsibility and to support municipal facilities, events, and projects in the foundation’s purposes of education, upbringing, sports, youth, family and elderly care, culture, art and monument preservation, environmental and nature conservation, landscape management, local heritage preservation, traditional customs, as well as charitable causes. The annual grant thus makes a valuable contribution to the sustainable development and strengthening of the community in Waldsee (Rhineland-Palatinate).

Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, institutions, associations, initiatives, and private individuals with a registered office or residence in the local municipality of Waldsee. A prerequisite for funding is the assignment of the project to at least one foundation purpose specified in the statutes, as well as demonstrated innovation and sustainability potential. The application must include a fully completed application form, a detailed project description, and a final report upon project completion. The decision is based on the criteria of foundation purpose alignment, innovation potential, and sustainability relevance. Funding applications can be submitted until 31 August 2026. The Waldsee Citizens' Foundation aims to strengthen community spirit locally and to sustainably promote forward-looking initiatives.
