The Silvia Tennenbaum Scholarship of the Nonprofit Hertie Foundation supports authors, critics, and artists with writing-based practices who dedicate their projects to the themes of antisemitism, culture of remembrance, and democracy. Over a period of six months, monthly grants of €2,000 are provided to cover living expenses. Additionally, the scholarship recipients receive a rental subsidy of €2,500 for their three-month stay in Frankfurt am Main. Within the framework of the Writer-in-Residence program, internal and public events offer opportunities for professional exchange and networking with local initiatives and civil society actors.
