Description

The Sirah Exhibition – Prophetic Biography in Hamburg invites visitors to explore the life and work of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through impressive miniature models, interactive workshops, and well-founded lectures. This annually recurring exhibition format is aimed at non-profit organizations engaged in the Muslim community and promotes a deepened historical understanding through creative educational methods. The AL MANAR Foundation for Islamic Education and Culture continuously supports the project with grants to intensify educational efforts and awareness-raising about key stages of Islamic history and to strengthen inclusive coexistence.

The focus is on dismantling prejudices and promoting interreligious dialogue. Young Muslims are given the opportunity to engage with the Sirah both academically and practically and to contribute their insights to the design of workshops and play activities. At the same time, the exhibition offers a broad audience from the majority society a platform to gain a new, nuanced image of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through interactive formats and expert impulses. The goal is to empower Muslim youth in their ethical and spiritual development and to build bridges between different social groups. Applications are accepted at any time, allowing committed organizations to continuously benefit from this funding opportunity.
