Special Funding Program Pitztal

The Special Funding Program Pitztal serves the targeted regional development in the Pitztal planning association (Arzl im Pitztal, Jerzens, St. Leonhard im Pitztal, Wenns) and supports projects focusing on infrastructure, digitalization, competitiveness, as well as the creation of attractive living spaces. Measures for destination development (experience and leisure infrastructure, offer development & brand integration), for increasing the competitiveness and innovation capacity of accommodation businesses and SMEs, as well as for the development of a "place of good living" (attractive living environment, "Digital Region Pitztal," cooperations) are funded. As grant opportunities, it is open across sectors to private individuals, start-ups, companies, cooperatives, associations, and public institutions. With a total volume of 10 million euros, impulses are set to strengthen the regional economy and sustainably promote local innovative strength.

The project duration is limited to 24 months, with the funding period running from 01.01.2018 to 30.06.2027. Prerequisites include the legal authorization to carry out the project, proof of financial viability and sustainability, and – for commercial projects – economic success. A completed cost and usage report must be submitted within two years after approval. For the application, a detailed project description, cost estimates, official approvals, a binding financing plan, and all planning documents must be submitted. The processing office is the Department of Economic Promotion and Funding Transparency of the State of Tyrol. The funding is granted as a direct subsidy and is determined in type and amount according to the chosen field of action pursuant to the guidelines.
