Description
The funding call "Social Innovation – Outplacement for Participants of Compulsory School Completion Courses in the Level Up – Adult Education Support Program" is aimed at educational institutions, non-profit organizations, public institutions, companies, interest groups, as well as other associations throughout Austria. The focus is on a holistic, person-centered outplacement approach that combines pedagogical support, social work case management, and labor market-related counseling. The goal is to provide individuals shortly before or after completing compulsory schooling with tailored follow-up opportunities in training, further education, or employment, to support application and transition processes, and to better network existing support services. The program promotes innovative methods such as individual coaching, excursions to schools and companies, or group coaching to ensure seamless transitions between compulsory school completion and advanced educational or employment opportunities.
The funding is provided as a grant with a funding rate of 95% (EU share) and 5% federal share, with a duration of 28 months and a total volume of 3 million euros. Only projects that cannot be fully realized without federal funds and whose overall financing is secured are eligible for funding. A prerequisite for application is submission to the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research in accordance with § 5 of the Adult Education Funding Act, as well as the deployment of professionally qualified staff. Eligible applicants are project sponsors who have registered their project description, financing plan, and the official call document (IDEA No. 223) via the IDEA platform and submit them by the deadline of June 22, 2026. The project start is scheduled from September 1, 2026.
