Description
The Sports Funding Guideline of the State of Hesse enables non-profit organizations and public institutions to support projects in the area of recreational and competitive sports with a grant. This funding targets a variety of initiatives aimed at building and strengthening organized sports. In addition to measures promoting youth competitive sports, large sporting events, integrative projects, and health-related initiatives are also supported. The grants can cover between 25% and 85% of eligible expenses and represent a welcome opportunity to sustainably improve the sports infrastructure in Hesse. It is a prerequisite that the project is properly planned and that the total costs are partially financed through own funds or third-party funds.
The guideline supports a broad range of activities that go far beyond traditional club sports.
