Description
The NRW.BANK Sports Facility Financing Program offers non-profit organizations in North Rhine-Westphalia a forward-looking opportunity to invest in the preservation, modernization, and targeted expansion of sports facilities. This funding instrument supports not only structural maintenance but also the new construction, conversion, and extension of sports facilities, thereby creating a contemporary sports venue offering. The program is specifically aimed at sports clubs, associations, and other non-profit initiatives that can demonstrate membership in the State Sports Federation NRW or one of its subdivisions. By applying the house bank principle, the funding is provided through the respective house bank, which ensures individual and competent advice with its local expertise.
Refinancing through the KfW Development Bank makes it possible to further reduce the already favorable conditions, allowing for financing of up to 100% of the total investment costs. Eligible expenses include, among others, costs for land acquisition including preparation and development, construction and equipment costs, planning costs, as well as costs related to the realignment and redesign of outdoor facilities. This comprehensive support helps to sustainably address the diverse challenges in sports facility maintenance, thereby ensuring a future-oriented infrastructure for sporting activities.
