Scholarships of the NOAH Foundation

The NOAH Foundation continuously awards scholarships nationwide to support social entrepreneurs, civil society initiatives, and research projects that address Sustainable Development Goals, social entrepreneurship, constructive journalism, or the protection and restoration of the oceans. Carriers from the startup scene, non-profit organizations, or companies can submit project ideas that provide concrete solutions to social and ecological challenges. Funding is provided for research with up to €5,000 as well as for initiatives and social entrepreneurs with up to €15,000, aiming to achieve impact-oriented results and maximize visibility through a network of media partners.

Interested parties may submit a Letter of Inquiry (maximum three pages) at any time, outlining the alignment with the thematic focus and the potential for sustainable impact. Evaluation is based on the congruence with the NOAH Foundation’s fields of work and the expected impact. By concentrating on social entrepreneurship, constructive journalism, and ocean protection, a diverse funding environment is offered that supports actors in realizing innovative projects and making a measurable contribution to the global goals. The straightforward application process without a fixed deadline, as well as the foundation’s commitment to long-term empowerment, motivate applicants to submit their ideas promptly and jointly create impact.
