The scholarship funding of the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony honors outstanding individual artistic achievements and provides space for the realization of new projects in visual arts, performing arts, music, literature, and film. Up to 40 working scholarships are awarded annually, complemented by additional residency programs and the Max Uhlig Travel Scholarship, thus enabling changes of location and perspective.
