Talent Pool for Sponsorships (German Equestrian Sports Foundation)

The German Equestrian Sports Foundation supports promising young athletes in equestrian sports nationwide through a specially established talent pool. Based on selection by a national coach, young athletes are integrated into a network that supports them both financially and with equestrian and entrepreneurial expertise. Thanks to long-term funding and mentoring partnerships lasting at least 24 months, the talents benefit from close guidance by experienced sponsors. Private individuals can become sponsors within the framework of sponsorships and, after reviewing the application documents, enter into an individual sponsorship. Participation is continuously possible as soon as the national coach has issued a recommendation. A formal application process requires the submission of the relevant documents, after which the foundation facilitates the placement upon successful selection. The two-year project duration ensures that both financial resources and professional advice contribute purposefully and sustainably to performance enhancement. Through this approach, young athletes benefit from a reliable structure that paves the way into elite sports and helps keep the German equestrian heritage alive.
