Intercompany Apprentice Training (ÜLU)

The Intercompany Apprentice Training Program (ÜLU) in Saxony-Anhalt offers apprentices in recognized training occupations the opportunity to deepen their practical professional skills beyond the company level. Subsidy measures, which can be applied for continuously, are funded. Eligible applicants are companies and public institutions that wish to qualify participants in state-owned ÜLU workshops. The program is part of the thematic funding areas of Vocational Education & Training and is managed by the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equality of Saxony-Anhalt in cooperation with the State Administration Office of Saxony-Anhalt.

The focus is on imparting job-related additional qualifications to meaningfully complement in-company vocational training. In practice-oriented modules, apprentices acquire specialized skills taught in the traditional workshops of the state. The goal is to strengthen professional competence and facilitate the transition into the primary labor market. This program particularly targets apprentices seeking supplementary practical qualifications to sustainably enhance their training success. Applications can be submitted at any time, as funding is offered without fixed deadlines.
