Funding is provided to persons with main residence in Vienna who are employed under ASVG, marginally employed without unemployment insurance, insured in educational part-time, or as new self-employed (§ 2 (1) item 4 GSVG). A prerequisite is a formal and timely application including proof of employment, registration confirmation, course attendance confirmation, and payment receipts. waff provides a list of recognized education providers to ensure that only qualified further education offers are used. The funding instrument offers targeted access to vocational qualification and strengthens opportunities in the labor market in the city of Vienna by reducing financial barriers to qualification measures.
