The program’s goal is to strengthen the qualifications and competitiveness of employed individuals by enabling them to invest in their professional future in a needs-based and financially supported manner. As a grant, the funding instrument targets companies, start-ups, and educational institutions that offer registered further training courses for their employees or participants. The ongoing possibility to submit applications until the program’s end in December 2027 creates a flexible and plannable funding environment for both learners and employers alike.
The target group of the funding program comprises employees with a registered office or place of business in Bavaria who have an employment relationship and can demonstrate suitable further training measures. Eligible costs include seminar and course fees, fees for trainers and lecturers, as well as teaching and learning materials. For the application, in addition to the completed application form, a detailed project description, an interim report, and a final proof of use must be submitted. The application deadline runs continuously until December 31, 2027. The program is managed by the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labour and Social Affairs, which, as part of the state government, is committed to strengthening vocational education and social participation. Interested stakeholders can establish a solid foundation for implementing their qualification projects through the funding requirements and detailed funding guidelines.
