Description
The Wertebündnis Bayern Foundation supports innovative, sustainable cooperative initiatives throughout Bavaria with the Wertebündnis projects. Funding is provided to project sponsors from educational institutions, non-profit and public organizations, as well as companies, who together with at least three alliance partners develop action-oriented educational offerings for children, adolescents, and young adults. The focus is on strengthening democratic awareness, judgment skills, and value-oriented actions. Project ideas range from political education and antisemitism prevention to cultural participation and social inclusion. Key to successful funding are the quality of the concept, diversity of methods, integration of sustainability, and accompanying evaluation for impact analysis. Selection is ongoing; applications can be submitted at any time.
For an application, a concise project idea (1–2 pages) must first be prepared, followed by a detailed project concept (5–6 pages) covering organizational structure, scheduling, financing, and evaluation procedures. The project duration is 12 to 36 months. A prerequisite is close networking with regional or thematically appropriate partners within the Wertebündnis Bayern. The funding amount is granted as a subsidy and can be combined with in-kind contributions as well as other public or private funds. The foundation provides advisory support regarding application submission, financial management, and public relations in line with the corporate design. Through continuous project funding, pioneering educational networks are created that remain effective beyond the project period and contribute to strengthening social cohesion.
