Allocation of Accommodation / Admission to the Student Dormitory of the "Haus Bauhütte" Foundation

The non-profit foundation "Haus Bauhütte" provides furnished living spaces in single rooms and apartments year-round in Hamburg, thereby promoting affordable, secure housing for students. Located directly on the Alster River, the residential complex not only offers an attractive location with excellent transport connections but also a variety of recreational and sports facilities such as a boat dock, fitness room, and communal areas. With a total of 237 places, the offer is primarily open to students of architecture, civil engineering, and geomatics, but is equally aimed at all other enrolled participants of Hamburg universities. Through close ties to HafenCity University Hamburg and the Construction Guild, the dormitory benefits from professional expertise and a vibrant network within the construction and planning industry.

Interested students can apply for a living space online at any time. The application requires a current photo, a meaningful curriculum vitae, as well as a certificate of enrollment or proof of admission. Priority is given to the fields of architecture, civil engineering, and geomatics during allocation, although all study programs are welcome. The aim of the funding is to support student life and studies as best as possible through stable accommodation.
