About the funder
The Albrecht-Bengel-Haus is a theological study center in Tübingen-Derendingen that provides housing for 120 students (so-called "Bengeln") in shared apartments and individual units. Most residents are studying theology for pastoral or teaching ministry at the University of Tübingen. Complementing their university studies, they receive theological and personal guidance within the house. Additionally, the center offers a wide range of continuing education programs, theological orientation (the quarterly journal "Theologische Orientierung"), church academies, and other services for church and society.
