Ehrenamtsstiftung MV – Stiftung für Ehrenamt und bürgerschaftliches Engagement in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

The Ehrenamtsstiftung MV was established on June 1, 2015, at the initiative of the state government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. As a foundation under civil law, it exclusively pursues charitable purposes in accordance with the tax code. The foundation supports volunteers throughout Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania through information and legal advice, promotes local exchange and networking, develops contemporary formats for the advancement of clubs and organizations, highlights the impact of engagement, and advocates for improved conditions for civic participation.

Through advice, training, networking, and financial support, it empowers clubs and initiatives to effectively implement their ideas. At the heart of this is the appreciation of voluntary commitment: we make visible how much good volunteers do and firmly anchor their concerns in the society and politics of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern."

The offerings of the Ehrenamtsstiftung MV are aimed at all those who are or wish to be engaged in voluntary work in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In particular, non-profit associations (small and very small associations), public-law corporations, as well as volunteer initiatives without their own legal entity, are supported. The foundation assists individuals, groups, and organizations with advice, training, funding, and networking opportunities.
