About the funder

The Catholic School Foundation in the Diocese of Erfurt is a public law church foundation, established in 2004 by the Bishop of Erfurt and approved by the Thuringian State Government. For over 20 years, it has supported the schools under the sponsorship of the Diocese of Erfurt, including the Edith Stein School Erfurt and the Bergschule St. Elisabeth Gymnasium in Heiligenstadt. Through its donation account at Pax-Bank Erfurt, it supports a variety of projects aimed at promoting the school community, modern learning environments, Christian school culture, as well as environmental and climate awareness.
