Mission & Vision

The foundation's assistance begins where the state ceases to provide support. The goal is to offer unbureaucratic and prompt aid – usually within 14 days – for physically and mentally disabled individuals as well as their families. At least 70% of the funds are allocated directly to aid measures; in 2019, project expenditures exceeded 90%.

Target groups

Supported are service-disabled soldiers of the Bundeswehr, firefighters, THW helpers, disaster relief personnel, as well as survivors (spouses, children, family members). The foundation operates nationwide. Support includes, among others, PTSD treatments, disability-adapted vehicle modifications, therapy dogs, legal advice, health insurance contributions, and funeral expenses.
