Regierungspräsidium Darmstadt

The Regierungspräsidium Darmstadt is a Hessian state authority that serves as a central hub for the Darmstadt administrative district (Southern Hesse) with a wide range of key responsibilities. It mediates, coordinates, manages, and shapes numerous processes and assumes supervisory, control, and approval functions as well as special tasks. With approximately 1,600 employees in a region with nearly four million inhabitants, the authority focuses on the safety and quality of life of the citizens as well as the sustainable development of the Rhine-Main region.
