The Cultural Department of the City of Vienna creates optimal conditions for artists and the Viennese public to ensure a diverse, engaging, and high-quality cultural offering. Transparency in all funding procedures, a respectful, inclusive collaboration in accordance with the "Code of Ethics," and the responsible management of public funds form the foundation of our work.
Target groups
Our programs are aimed at all individuals and entities living and working in Vienna's cultural sector: individuals, associations, initiatives, institutions, and companies from the fields of visual and performing arts, music, literature, film, science, and interdisciplinary projects that contribute to cultural diversity and social cohesion in Vienna.
