Stiftung Dissen
About the funder
The Stiftung Dissen was founded in 2003 at the initiative of the Evangelical Lutheran Parish of St. Mauritius. It provides long-term support for church-related and civic non-profit projects in the city of Dissen and its surroundings. The focus areas are charitable aid services for children, youth, families, and seniors, as well as the support of educational and integration projects. The foundation manages a permanently endowed capital, the interest and earmarked donations of which are promptly invested in local projects.

Mission & Vision
We take responsibility for community life in Dissen. We support church work and civic engagement where children and youth, seniors, the needy, and marginalized groups in our community require assistance. Our work is guided by the motto of the church congregation: "St. Mauritius – a living congregation journeying on God's paths to the people in our city."
Target groups
Funding is provided for individuals and groups in the city of Dissen and the surrounding area, particularly children and adolescents in schools, kindergartens, and the community, young adults participating in the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ), families in challenging life situations, seniors and single individuals seeking everyday support and community, as well as people facing financial or social hardship.
