About the funder
For more than 45 years, the Stiftung Naturschutzfonds Baden-Württemberg has been committed to preserving the natural environment and the natural foundations of life in the state. It creates prospects for nature and people by promoting and supporting exemplary, innovative, and creative nature conservation projects. Under the motto "We promote diversity," the focus is on pilot and model projects, education for sustainable development with a special emphasis on biological diversity, raising public awareness, fostering civic engagement, and enhancing nature and landscape. The foundation is a legally established public law foundation, founded in 1976 based on the Nature Conservation Act of Baden-Württemberg, and supports both organizations and private individuals in their nature conservation efforts.

Mission & Vision
The Stiftung Naturschutzfonds Baden-Württemberg supports projects aimed at initiating positive developments and changes in nature conservation and paving new paths. Target groups
The funding programs of the Baden-Württemberg Nature Conservation Fund Foundation are aimed at children, adolescents, and adults in the state. It supports organizations and associations as well as municipalities, districts, research institutions, and private individuals who are committed to nature conservation, environmental education, species and habitat protection, and exemplary projects in landscape management.
