About the funder

The Thuringian Ministry for Social Affairs, Health, Labour and Family (TMSGAF) is a state ministry based in Erfurt. It was established in 1990 in the course of the re-establishment of the Free State of Thuringia. The ministry is responsible for the social policy, health, and labor market framework conditions in Thuringia. Areas of work include social affairs, labor and qualification, health, child and youth welfare, veterinary services, and consumer protection. It previously bore the short name TMASGFF.

Mission & Vision

The Ministry supports people in difficult social life situations in overcoming their problems and creates framework conditions for social justice, equal opportunities, and social cohesion in Thuringia.

Target groups

Non-profit organizations, municipalities, social institutions, as well as citizens in the Free State of Thuringia are eligible for funding. The focus is on projects and organizations in the fields of social affairs, labor, health, family, child and youth welfare, and inclusion with an operational base in Thuringia.
