We are committed to Hesse – for a better quality of life and sustainable development of the economy and infrastructure. As the development bank of the state of Hesse, our mission is to efficiently pool public funding, support innovative projects and investments, and thereby contribute to strengthening Hesse as a business location and securing jobs.
Target groups
The funding programs of WIBank are aimed at a broad spectrum of beneficiaries in Hesse: start-ups and young companies seeking capital for establishment and growth; small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for operational investments and innovations; municipalities, districts, and public institutions for infrastructure and modernization measures; freelancers and non-profit organizations in social, cultural, and ecological sectors; private individuals, for example, in the acquisition of residential property, barrier-free remodeling, or energy-efficient renovation.
