Funding of the Nussbaum Foundation

The funding from the Nussbaum Foundation supports nonprofit and charitable organizations, educational institutions, interest groups, as well as public institutions in Baden-Württemberg throughout the year. Project priorities lie in the areas of children and youth, education, vocational training and further education, sports, health, environmental/nature conservation, climate protection, culture, media and music, as well as energy efficiency. Eligible applicants are actors active in the Foundation’s partner municipalities who aim to sustainably support disadvantaged young people. The Foundation grants subsidies for the implementation of projects that improve equal opportunities, quality of life, and educational prospects locally. Project applications can be submitted continuously, allowing initiatives to be supported flexibly and promptly.

With the goal of strengthening the future prospects of disadvantaged children and youth, the Nussbaum Foundation funds educational programs, sports and health measures, as well as environmental and cultural projects. A special focus is placed on initiatives that combine ecological responsibility with cultural participation. Through engagement in the partner municipalities, local networks are strengthened and sustainable structures established. The funding helps to close existing gaps in the public education and social system and opens up new opportunities for nonprofit actors. Interested organizations receive clear guidelines for application submission and can continuously submit their project ideas to receive tailored support.
